Difference between Lumineers and Veneers

effects can be obtained specifically by imitating the appearance of the real teeth. Whereas ordinary porcelain veneers are about 0.5-0.7 mm high, the thickness of the lumineers is about 0.1-0.2 mm. A few millimeters can make all the difference in the way the veneers are mounted. Lumineers can often be mounted straight to natural teeth, unlike ordinary veneers where a slight amount of tooth structure has to be withdrawn.
They can also be installed, rejuvenating their appearance, over-aged crowns and bridges. Lumineers, like normal veneers, can not be stained or discolored.
